Year in Review Part 4: Honeymoon

About to board a dinner cruise

When B and I were planning our honeymoon, we initially thought about traveling somewhere within India (maybe Goa? Or Rajasthan?). Unfortunately, we were limited to where we could go due to our lack of vacation days (we had already taken nearly 1 month to travel to India for our wedding events). We decided staying local (ie within North America) was going to have to suffice as we had the long Thanksgiving weekend to enjoy. We then narrowed down Mexico or Hawaii, and ultimately decided on Maui. We had heard so many good things about Maui from several friends who had honeymooned there. It really is the perfect destination for a couple; peaceful beaches, serene views, and romantic dinners make for the ideal getaway for a honeymoon or anniversary. I loved it so much, I can’t wait to go back again soon.
